Please don't throw stones at me.... T_T I know it's been a loooooong time since we've done anything, but i've been really sick these passed few months. We at least figured out that it was due to a lack of certain vitamins in my diet ever since the doctor had me go on a strick cheese diet T_T But things are better now that im taking supliments! YAY! So anyway!!! We're back! Some sad news though... Kawa con is on hold until the economy kicks back up and we can secure a place in which to have it.  Gomen nasai mina-san!  But we do have a lake day in planning for all of you if not a weekend. Depending on how many of you are willing to spend time out in the woods, some of us are planning on camping. ^_^ the location isn't set, but Lake day will be on a Saturday this year instead of a Sunday so we can spend the night. Tell ghost stories, maybe we'll bring up a small TV and watch a Japanese horror film. *glee* There should be a boat this year barring nothing goes wrong with the engine this year. XD There will be games and a cook out! Please let us know if you are wanting to camp. I"ll be checking out sites and such, but to reserve them I thinkyou need a card, so if we reserve a site for you we're going to need the fee in advance. I'll update you guys once I find something out. ANyway, hope to see you all at D*C and AWA. The only big group cosplay we are wanting to do is the Shinsengumi! We do want to march in line at least at some point in the afternoon when a lot of people are there, so we will take one day to photoshoot with the outfits and work on drill comands. I think with Jen just getting out of bootcamp she will be the best one to get us in order for this XD I'll have her look up the Japanese comands. Anyway. we suggest getting a Bleach Shinigami uniform and getting the blue haori for the Shinsengumi seperate that way you get two cosplays out of one. WE ARE NOT DOING THE PEACEMAKER SHINSENGUMI! You can cosplay one of them if you like, but that is not the group we are doing. We are doing the generic historical Shinsengumi and marching around in formation for 30 minutes to an hour around AWA There will be only one leader and formation will be practiced here in Augusta at least one week before. If you do not want to get two seperate pieces for the outfit, that's fine, we only want to make sure we all match so please make sure you get the Shinsengumi outfit witht he black Hakama not the brown or off grey. Tiss a sad day when you know that the place where so many fun cosplay events took place is now closing. THats right. Suncoast int he Augusta mall is closing. T_T Everything is getting cheaper and cheaper every weak so that they can get everything sold. The reason? The mall raised prices on it's renters and they can't afford it. Truth is, hardly any of the stores can afford it.  So go in and say so long to an old friend.

I've got good news and somewhat stressing news! Good news is that Kawacon has been moved to October of Next year from June. The Stressfull news is that it will cost us $8,000. Thats right. $500 for the Down payment and they want the rest of it 3 days before the event! Which means we can't depend on at the door ticket sales. This means we have to get the money before hand. so if anyone has ideas, please let us know. we are going to be trying fund raisers as well as selling items. There will be yard sale coming up, so if anyone would like to donate anything they would like to sell, please let us know or bring it to us. Donations would be great in general. and we might be opening up for sponcers.
